A lot of students lament about how expensive West Palm Beach is, and how tough it is for them to stay within their desired price range. I can’t help but agree with them--this is a very pricey area. And not just West Palm Beach, but Riviera Beach, Lake Worth, and the other parts of Palm Beach, too. But, you get what you pay for. Unbelievable access to the ocean, beaches, nightlife, shopping, and PBAU. If you can stretch your budget to live here, I would say it’s worth it. If not, there are affordable places in the region, but it’ll be a longer commute for you. The drive to PBAU is a scenic one on South Flagler Drive along the water. There’s nothing better than getting out of class and riding on Flagler, basking in the sun and feeling free. It feels even sweeter if you’re headed to the beach, which is just minutes away from the school. You could probably walk there if you wanted to. South of West Palm Beach is Lake Worth, and Riviera Beach lies to the north. PBAU is also accessible by I-95 or Route 1, depending on where your apartment is.
