It's been a positive experience so far. I love my apartment, and I'm so glad I was able to find a pet-friendly community. The apartment is spacious and was clean when I moved in. Maintenance is friendly and quick to respond to any requests, overall a very positive location.

I just moved out of Launch. Overall, it was just okay. I liked the view and the proximity to campus. Sometimes bad communication with staff, mix ups or slow work with maintenance, and a few angry phone calls or emails on my part. I wouldn't say it's worth the price. It's rundown and doesn't feel quite safe. And when I moved out, I was bombarded with unfair cleaning fees. My family and I spent hours cleaning the apartment, and it was much better than how I found it when I first moved in. And yet, I was charged almost 300 bucks. And because I didn't set up a move out walk through appointment (which I felt I didn't need, as the place was spotless), I'm not allowed to argue (I can only mail a letter) and likely won't get my money back. I feel a bit betrayed, because I have been a good renter and have given them so much grace when they wronged me, and I'm not getting that same understanding and respect. I feel that they have taken advantage of me. I had more problems with them in one year than I did at the Avenue South in the two years previous. I wish I had lived somewhere else for my last year of college.

It's pet friendly, indoor pool, and prices aren't bad compared to other places. I got a job at the Levee and I can walk from my apartment to work and save gas. The leases are for the whole apartment, not separate so I can afford to live with my gf while she goes to Purdue.

I have lived at launch for a year now and have greatly enjoyed being part of this community. I arrived after the big move-in day and was put on the lease of my roommate with no problem. The office staff are extremely helpful and inviting. If there are ever any issues, the staff up there are very apologetic and work effectively to resolve them. The maintenance staff works very effectively. Whenever I have put in a work order, be it big or small, it has been addressed within 24 hours. Overall, this community is safe, quiet, and extremely close to campus. Keep up the good work!

The people in the office are not helpful. At the beginning of my lease they promised me set rates then when it's over they will increase my monthly bill... I think the people working in the office need costumer service training, sometimes they are rude and refuse to help... I lived in the upper floor, it gets so hot during the summer, they have one small AC for the whole unit that does not reach the bedroom. I wish they would fix all these problems. One positive note is that living facing the the river feels great...

Good apartments for a good price! There were some issues upon my move-in but they were resolved quickly and professionally. Samantha (the leasing manager) was amazing and very helpful. Honestly, a lot of the issues people seem to be complaining about (being charged for carpet cleaning, other charges, etc) could easily be solved by reading the lease where everything is outlined in detail. The apartments are being updated from my understanding, but ultimately, for the location and the price they're not bad at all!

this is the perfect location if you're looking to stay off campus but still close enough that you can walk. It's an amazing property for the price you're getting. I've lived in 3 different apartments here and I've liked every one of them. Two of the units I lived in faced the River, which is a nice view to wake up to in the morning. I also have two dogs, so the fact that they have TWO dog parks is really great. The indoor pool and game room are great for when I have friends over. I also love using the gym and tanning beds. The staff is super friendly and will greet you by name when you enter the leasing office (not many other complexes are able to do that) Launch has monthly events so it's nice to hang out with friends / neighbors as well as the leasing staff and even management!

I really liked living at Launch when I was there the past two years with my boyfriend. The apartment was very spacious, even for 2 people in a 1 bedroom, and people always commented on how nice the apartment was when they came over. We had a spiral staircase in the building we lived in which made it feel kind of fancy. It was also right by the dog park. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the office staff. We used to have a guy with a man bun who worked in the office who was super friendly and actually cared about any issues we had in the apartment, but he no longer works there and everyone else in the office will either "have to get back with you" or say the manager is "in a meting" no matter what time of day you call. There's a blonde guy in the office now who actually acts like he cares about any issues we have, but everyone else there couldn't care less about maintenance issues, people not picking up after their pets, or cleaning the tennis courts. I was reading a lot of the reviews and I had to make a gmail just so I could leave one because a lot of the reviews seem like things that are residents fault, not Launch itself. I would lease here again because the apartments are really nice and the location is great if you're a student. It's far away enough that you don't have a bunch of noise, but still close enough that it isn't too bad of a walk or bike ride. Also, there are bus stops across the street that take you right to campus. So in the winter months, it's really nice to take advantage of. It's also right by a trail you can run / hike on. Free tanning, indoor pool, game room, and events. They also have a gym, but there is not a lot of variability with machines and it's always crowded unless you get there very early in the morning. I likes the monthly events they had. It was nice to actually meet the people I was neighbors with. No other place I've lived has had events.

I am in a 3 bed, 3 bath apartment. I like the apartment itself, I think it is nice and spacious for 3 people. However, I am not impressed by the experiences I've had with the management or the repair crew. The process of signing a lease was difficult and emails sent to me were moved to my spam folder because of the poor grammar of my leasing agent. Both times I've needed repairs, once on our faucet which was spewing water everywhere and our dishwasher which wasn't working properly, took over a month for the repair crew to come out to fix. Other than that, the recreational center is nice and there is a bus that takes you to campus that comes about every 20 minutes. Also, rent is cheap compared to other places if that is a major factor for you Overall, I will not be resigning my lease.

Since living at Launch, I have had an amazing experience. From the friendly staff, great atmosphere, and beautiful views of the river I couldn't think of anyplace better to live while I attend Purdue. There are always community events going on at Launch which really makes you feel like you're part of a family. I also really enjoy the tennis courts and indoor heated pool!

I've lived under three different managements in West Lafayette, and this is by far the best. I feel like the apartments are good quality for a fair rate. They are pet friendly, their management staff have always been polite and responsive, and maintenance has been respectful and prompt.

I would rate it more at a 3.5, but there is not an option for it. I think that this place has really good potential. I absolutely love my apartment, it is the perfect size for me and when I moved in, everything was great. Everything gets fixed when I asked, but I have not had any large issues at all. My only complaints are that I was charged a $100 late fee on my rent, which was not my fault. It may have been an accident, but a $70 credit was added to my account, so when I paid my rent, the balance was $0. They then added that $70 back to my account, and charged me a $100 late fee on it. I get that business is business, but I was pretty upset with the way the situation was handled by the staff. I have never once been late on my rent, granted I usually pay it early. Also, the package situation is a little strange, if I get a note on my door that my package is at the office - I am going to go pick it up. I understand it can be for security reasons, or sorting reasons, but sometimes they tell me it's not there... when it clearly is. I think that since there is new management, it is going to take time for things to get into a good flow. Overall, I do like living here and I renewed my lease.

I've been living in the same apartment for 3 years now and really like the space I have in my apartment. I love the new renovations they've done where my friend and I are thinking about sharing a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment here next year for the fact we can each have our own space. The maintenance guys are very nice and always here to fix something within a couple hours and putting a request form in. I like the pet friendly rules because I was able to keep my cat from when they switched over from Williamsburg on the Wabash. People say it's kind of far from campus, but I don't think it is at all and the bus is very convenient stopping by every 20 years. All and all every apartment complex will have their issues, and this is a very old apartment complex so they've done a great job of keeping up with things and I've had very few issues all 3 years of living here.

Launch is a quiet community with an attentive and friendly staff. The few times I've needed them, maintenance has responded almost immediately. The gym, tan, and pool facilities in the clubhouse are a great bonus and the location can't be beat; right smack dab in the middle of the twin cities of West Lafayette / Lafayette. The complex sits right on a CityBus line so getting to and from campus is a breeze. The units have all been remodeled in the past year or so, and the new management is constantly making improvements. Launch is very pet friendly with a little dog park nearby and the views over the Wabash is perfect for when youre out for a stroll. Would recommend.
