Definitely the most Beautiful and luxurious places to live off campus around UTSA. My family and I stopped in and toured all the apartments around the UTSA area and this 1 stood out from all the other places. Had a great experience living here, was walking distance from school, nice to have a convenient store and a food truck/live music/bar right across the street. Always had friends over at my place, and they loved my apartment, were amazed how big my walk in closets and bedroom was, a little pricey but would recommend to live here.

This review will be very detailed and probably the best review of this place on here I will begin with the rooms. The rooms are very nice and do make you feel at home. However, the walls are paper thin, so if you enjoy listening in on gossip or hearing your roommates conversations, then this is the place for you! Maintenance is awful. During the year, they came to replace air filters only ONCE. I took matters in my own hands and replaced the air filters twice during my stay. I guess they want to charge you more after your monthly rent. If you get lucky enough to get a room next to The Block or the pool area, I recommend wearing ear plugs when sleeping unless you enjoy listening to terrible cover bands preforming at The Block while trying to sleep for work the next day. The hallways are disgusting. Be careful where you walk, or you might just track pet excrement (I hope) in your car or rooms. Next, the parking garage. I could write an entire post about the garage, but Ill try my best to keep it short. The majority of the drivers here do not understand why you should take turns going up or down this garage slow. I cannot even remember how many times I was almost hit by a speeding car going up or down the garage. Numerous times people came inches from hitting the front of my car, even though there is plenty of room to have two cars go through at the same time. The garage was cluttered with trash and debris people throw out of their cars. Also, during my stay at Prado, the white paint to mark parking spaces faded away for many of the spaces in about 4 months and management kept it like that until only recently after many residences move out. Now for the good Being close to campus saves money on gas. Having a workout room is also nice for late night workouts. It is big enough with a decent variety of equipment to use. The study rooms are nice and there are computers to use as well. This is pretty much it. Again, this review is meant to be informative for new residents looking for a place to live near campus.

By far the best UTSA student living. Hana is extremely helpful made the signing and move in process a breeze (ask for her if you're looking to sign a lease). Rooms were very clean and well-maintained upon move in!

I have now lived at Prado for 2 years, the staff here feels like family from the front office crew to the maintenance. I am now renewing for my 3rd year, so that should account for something right!? There aren't any typical issues as you would have with other complexes around the area. 10/10

Prado is a good student living complex. Lived here for 3 years and no real complaints. When you sign up for student living you know what youre getting yourself into (Late night noise, Messy common areas, dumb policies, etc...) that being said, Prado is the best student living complex. Nicest stuff by far compared to the other student living complexes. If you dont want to deal with the negatives consider somewhere else thats not student living. All in all Prado is one of the best places you can live without getting a normal apartment/leasing a house.

Don't get me wrong. If you have money to spend, and you're smart about negotiating prices and reading contracts, it's a good place to live. However, the leasing staff uses predatory practices to squeeze as much money out of the residents as possible. They falsely advertise the amount of rooms left for your preferred apartment space so you're more likely to sign sooner, they don't tell anybody to read the terms of agreement before signing, and once you sign, there's no way to cancel after 48 hours, even if it's months before your lease officially begins. That being said, most of the staff are courteous and kind, the internet is fast, and it has great furnishings. My advice? Sign here if you want a good living experience (minus the incredibly dirty hallways & stairwells) and you have a lot of money you'd like to spend. Otherwise, seek somewhere else.

I spent my freshman year of college at Prado Student Living. I heard from many of my friends that this was the best apartment complex to stay at. I had very high expectations coming into my stay, and needless to say they were exceeded. The staff here is impeccable in every aspect of management. From mail service to maintenance, they outperformed their competitors. They even impressed my parents due to the affordable cost of living and amenities. If anyone is trying to stay at an apartment close to UTSA, this is the place to stay.

Hana Thai helped me out in the front office, shes one of the managers apparently but she looks so young, but dont let those good looks fool you cause she was good with not letting me get that discount, i still signed tho cause she was nice but shes taken so i guess its just looking at her through the glass for me #sadface

Good student living granite countertops, large rooms. Usually noisy at night. Close to campus and food. Does not have a shuttle service to school so you have to walk across 2 busy roads. Management is good and will take care of you well if there happens to be any issues. I had a few issues but were all resolved quickly.

Prado should definitly be your top choice. To begin ,the apartments themselves are pretty spacious. They have a walk in closet, a beautiful marble island, the patio is huge, and to top it all off it is furnished and includes a washer and dryer. They have a small, but nice work out room and the study rooms offer a great environment. The "lobby' is super cute and stylish, usually quiet so it could also be a great place to sit and read. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. I definitely recommend living at Prado.

Prado is the best kept apartment complex around UTSA. Its really clean and it has a lot of amenities like study rooms and a nice pool. It's located right across from campus so you can walk to campus. Parking is in a garage so you don't have to worry about hail damage and stuff like that. Plus there's a coffee shop and a pita pit right next to prado. The people that work there are super nice and they always try their best to help you.

I've been a resident for 3 years now, going back to the construction days, Its been amazing to see the placed finished and bustling. The maintenance guys are beyond cool and are quick to fix anything (I probably owe those guys a beer or two), Management is really understanding and is helpful with literally EVERYTHING. The furniture is great and TV programming is great enough to where you're never bored. Weight room is one of the best of all the student living complexes, and you'll thank Jesus, Mary and Joseph you signed with Prado next time it HAILS! For real saved me 2,000$ in car repairs by having a garage to park in. Self Locking doors make sure random sketchy people don't roam around too freely, and I get to walk to the Rec to catch a workout or i can walk to the bus route to catch a quick ride to class. Would definitely resign if i wasn't graduating this semester!

I have lived at several student living apartments around UTSA while attending, and can say Prado is the most comfortable and stylish apartments! My apartment is fully furnished and including a queen sized bed. I love it. To top it off, I can either watch HBO on the free 50" TV in my living room, or catch a Spurs game in the beautiful clubhouse. If you are looking for a great place to stay at UTSA, these guys are who you want stop by and see!

Pleased to strongly recommend Prado Student Living to any parent looking for a safe, well built, and maintained apartment for their UTSA bound student. My step daughter has happily resided at Prado since it was first open for occupancy. Moreover, she enjoys all the amenities Prado has to offer, and its close proximity to the UTSA campus. Any other choice for residence would most likely be the wrong one. 5-Star w/out reservations or regrets!!

The location of Prado is great because it is directly across the street from campus. it is also next to a gas station, a barber shop, and pita pit. The rooms are all decently sized with a big main area. It also offers the most parking out of all student living around campus.

Beautiful apartment, great area and amazing staff! Being so close to UTSA, helps the commute so much easier! Apartments are amazing size and good space, not little. Basically they Lie Lie and Lie. Nothing is finished and they keep saying next month the elevator will be done and next month the pool will be done and next month the gym. Paying full price for NO amenities. Everyday have to walk 4 flights of stairs and that's not easy with a bunch of groceries. The staff never knows anything and are very unorganized. They are trying so hard to make the place outside look nice (grass and trees) rather than fixing the elevator for their existing residents. When you want to get a lower rate they say "oh well you can opt out of your lease." Only reason I know people won't opt out because they don't want to take all their crap up and down the stairs again to move. This place has so much potential, but they are not there yet. I would wait until the apartments are completely finish to consider signing a lease. Don't fall into their web of lies.
