Many events take place in Riverside. The Riverside Festival of Lights has 300+ Christmas lights, and fireworks, and over 65,000 people come to see it. The Festival of Trees is another holiday decoration event, which draws around 25,000 people. The Mission Inn in Riverside is supposedly haunted, so every year there is a Ghost Walk Riverside event with six different tours, and storyteller tour guides to spook the guests. The Riverside Dickens Festival is a literary festival with workshops, music, lectures, a street bazaar, and more. Other Riverside annual events include the International Film Festival, the Robot Expo, the LGBT Pride parade, the Riverside Airshow, the Asian Pacific Lunar New Year Festival, and an Independence Day celebration. Around 4500 students are enrolled at CBU. About 63% of the students are women. Around 80% of students have cars. It is not a super diverse school, with about 70% of the student population being White, 20% Hispanic, and about 8% Black. In Riverside, there are over 300,000 residents. It is 56.5% White, 7.4% Asian, 7% Black, 1.7% Filipino, 1.6% Chinese, 1% Native American. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 49% of the population, and 42% of the population is Mexican. Around 50% of the population is made up of married couples. The biggest employer in town is the County of Riverside, followed by UC Riverside, and the Riverside School District.
