I did a lot of apartment searching and viewing. A lot. I liked this place because it was quiet, with a pond, and everything seemed updated. Honestly, the place looked almost brand new when we first moved in. So far it's been great. There are a few kids, but other than that it appears to be mostly elderly couples and working men and women like myself. It's quiet at night and during the day. I have probably heard my neighbors through our shared walls once or twice. The quiet hours start at 10pm and I've never heard anything from either neighbor after then. The grounds are kept up fairly well and the fitness center is a plus. Overall, I would love more space, but for the quiet and updated appliances and hardware, you can't beat this place. The location is great, you can even walk to Harris Teeter, or it's less than a five minute drive.
