I am so pleased! SUPER quiet. Amazing walking score especially FOR Phx. Our place is three stories, Garage included in rent, loft, large walk in, fireplace, glass tile backsplash in kitchen... I could go on and on...so many extras that in a normal apt complex you would get one of those and pay extra for that one has it is. The layout of this apt is excellent making the 1000Sqft feel huge. It has interesting angles too not just a boring square traditional floor plan. We love our two balconies and we have great views of downtown. can't say enough!!!I

I've lived here for a year and I count the days until my lease ends. Sure it looks nice and the people are very friendly. All in all, It is a lovely community. However, the apartments themselves leave a lot to be desired. (at least, mine did...) The floors are often creaky and warped. The worn sink linings corrode and everything seems to stick to them. Some vent covers, door stops, cabinet doors and cabinet handles hang by a thread, while others are absent. A largely broken AC unit consistently bellows obnoxiously throughout the home, burning up the electric bill as if it were to achieve something. Although after being serviced multiple times, it often fails to keep us cool. The walls are like paper. I can hear EVERYTHING happening outside! On the weekends, the number of loud-mouthed drunks (or tweekers) strolling through the complex at 3AM can sometimes get absurd. Of course, this wouldn't be a problem if the home's walls and windows absorbed any exterior sound. (or if the gates weren't broken for weeks at a time...) As if that wasn't enough, the rent is completely ridiculous. You can have all of this for the low price of $1400/mo (+ pet rent, zero utilities included) What a deal, right? They even threw in a battery powered doorbell from Wal-Mart to replace the one integrated into the building. Apparently, a single simple circuit with a switch wasn't worth fixing. Why work when you can shop at Wal-Mart? There is an attached garage, too. Although, with a floor that (much like the rest of the home) has been sloppily painted over and peels like it's nobody's business. The door also worked best when you disconnect anything that requires regular maintenance. :) Of course, management did get around to FINALLY fixing my garage door... ...after complaining about it for 8 months and having a $700 bike stolen. The garage door failed to close completely and I forgot to babysit it... I got lucky eventually, because it died completely, THEN, they fixed it. The moral of the story is you can't trust anything in this place to pull its weight when it matters. "Preventative" maintenance just doesn't actually happen here... They say it happens. I've seen people in jump suits riding around in golf carts. They are clearly doing "something", but whatever that may be, it isn't preventing any fires in my neck of the woods. This is something I believe shouldn't be unreasonable to expect from a place that claims to be luxury (and charges accordingly). While I can appreciate that many people have had a good experience at the Pavilions, it has been the worst ( and most expensive) renting experience I have ever had. One I don't care to repeat again. I'll just be going back to the hood. If nothing else I'll get about the same standard of livingalbeit, a bit less attractive to look at, but I'll save no small amount of money.

We've lived here almost three years and plan to renew our lease again, so that says something. A secure, gated complex, floorplans are dynamic, closet space is generous, one and two car garages are available. The gym is well furnished. A propane grill is available poolside and there are others around the complex at various locations. The pool and spa are beautifully lit at night and a nice place to meet your neighbors. Residents are mostly adults, generally friendly and considerate. The complex is central to everything: close to downtown, directly across the street from Steel Indian School Park (75 acres of biking and walking paths, two enormous dog parks, a lake, historic buildings and memorials, and on-going community events). The Phoenix light rail is just a short walk out your front door. There are two Grid Bike Share stations nearby. The surrounding area, Yaple Park, is a residential and historic community, safe and reasonably upscale. Shops and cafes are walking distance. Nice place to call home.

Edit: the widowed comment after this review was left by a previous manager who was ... Well, he's not here anymore and that's a good thing. We're still happy and love it here. New management is great. There was a little period during which the property was going downhill, but that problem has been resolved. Excellent location, amenities, views. There is a 75 acre park across the street with two dog parks, places to walk and bike, a lake, picnic areas. Rail station right outside the gates. Walk to shops, cafes, salons. The staff used to be outstanding. Unfortunately, the new manager is less proactive and seems less interested in property upkeep. Great neighbors. Quite. Parking can be a problem for guests, but other than that ... We've been here two and a half years. Still nice. Not as nice as it once was, but nice. Nice

Love the location, the place itself is nice. It's just overpriced compared to what you can get in the area, the amenities are regularly out of order (read: pool being resurfaced on the hottest two weeks of the summer, bolts falling out of the exercise equipment in the gym etc). The gap is bridgeable with attentive customer service, however, the customer service at the management office is by far the worst I've ever had. I've never had to ask for so much from my maintenance/management and in turn gotten such disinterest in return. And anyone who gets it immediately gets shuttled to another property (Gillian and Daniel are definitely missed). When you're regularly overshadowed in this area by a maintenance guy (thanks David!) that doesn't even have to care, you probably rethink your overall customer service mindset. I guess my advice is to treat your residents as well as you treat your prospective residents and maybe you won't need to refill the vacancies nearly as often.

I just want to thank the Maintenance crew for all their hard work this year! They respond quickly and always clean up their work area. Michael and Ruben recently did a great job on getting my gas fireplace ready in time for the holidays. So much appreciated!

I have lived at this apartment complex for 6 months now and it has been nothing but a great experience. The location is perfect, the staff have been super nice and maintenance is responsive as needed. They just renovated the pool which is an added bonus. I would recommend anyone to live here.

We have lived here for almost 3 years now. The Grounds are well kept, the Maintenance Staff has above average response times. Community BBQ grill's around the property. The Staff in the office is great and Daniel is always going above and beyond to help us out. MOVE HERE!!! if you are thinking about it.

My experience here has been wonderful to date, and my transition has been seamless. The staff are helpful and friendly, grounds are well maintained and residents (at least the ones I've met) are very nice. I'd recommend this to others, for sure.

Maintenance takes forever to fix things. Staff seem overworked. We have a newly remodeled unit yet paint is peeling everywhere. It could be better.
