This place is not for me or my family. For the price and the villa is not too bad or has a semi private pool and plenty of parking, there is a laundry machine and coke machine next to the building so that's nice! There are a few places to eat on the property and it's a nice spot in the city. The place however is completely outdated. At least in the villa it was, I will never stay here again, I just didn't feel comfortable there "master bedroom" was soo tiny we had to put our luggage by the door and we couldn't go in and out of our door. I don't know, for me I can't be comfortable when it's outdated cause it just seems dirty.

Nothing wrong with this place except it's price. Very costly unless you are mobile and can use all the water available. Several "pools", maybe 4 or 5. I requested a mobility accessible room and was given a hearing accessible. Big difference. They did change my room the next day but that should not have happened in the first place. I have recommended this place to others. It is nice, but I had to give it a 3 because of the first room.

My two young daughters live in AZ so when I travel to see them this is a great all in one hotel. Restaurants on side are decent and so is the water park. We just stay there the whole weekend and it is nice to have everything on site. The place is a little dated and old but nice overall. Most of the times I have stayed here I used Hilton Honor Points and have been able to get one of the larger and nicer units. Not sure how I would feel if I had to pay but they are making some improvements to the rooms and grounds to give a nicer feel. I have stayed at nicer Hilton properties but this one is so great for the kids, I will definitely be back.

The resort is easily accessible from the 51 freeway, nestled between desert mountain views. Finding parking was a challenge, but getting to and from the rooms to the water park was no problem. The water park was packed full of people (young kids could definitely use their own area for better supervision though; lots of unattended children in the pools), great pool side service, good drinks, decent food ($$$!), still had a blast! Clean room (except a cricket or two), rather noisy halls outside, comfortable bed, responsive room service. Had a great weekend getaway all in all! Will be back!

Rooms are nice we got the king suite with the pullout couch and we're comfortable. We came to Phoenix for my son's appointment at the children's phoenix hospital which is 8-9 minutes away. This is a very loud friendly resort! I'm sure there is things for adults but I feel as if they are about kids and parents relaxing. I would recommend I will revisit in the winter and see how it is as well..

Me and my family stay in a casita here every year and it's always a great time. They make it very easy to feel at home. My only complaint is on there security they like to check cars to see if there unlocked which I think is great but I do not like the fact that if your car is unlocked they will reach in and lock it. I know it is to be helpful just seems like a liability for them. All and all it's a great place to stay just lock your car if you don't want security in it.

I was in town for a convention and staying another Hilton property. Had very bad experience at the other property which I have reviewed in another opinion. It was so bad that we needed to get out after 2 days. I look for properties that were within 10 miles of me and found the Squaw Peak Resort. I told them but it happened at the other Hilton property, they quickly apologized and being a Diamond member, upgraded my room and gave me vouchers for food and drink. All staff has been wonderful. I brought my daughter and her friend on this trip and they love the Lazy River, bit prefer the private pool with less younger children. Doing this on business, bit if ever passing through Phoenix again on personal, I would definitely stay here. Front desk staff are top notch Hilton people.

We stayed in a king casita, and I must say the rooms werent very impressive. Super dated. Some cosmetic upgrades would make it appear much nicer and some furniture updates as well. I dont know how often the carpets are cleaned, We would walk around barefoot on the carpets for a few minutes and our feet were BLACK! My daughter is 1 and was crawling all over the floors until we noticed her hands/knees were black. Couldnt let her crawl for the rest of the trip. We were just grossed out. The balcony chairs had seen better days. And so has some of the leather furniture. The river ranch was neat but crazy over priced. But thats to be expected when places dont allow you to bring your own food and drinks in. Called that once I saw the sign. The chairs at the main pool were much much much nicer then then the ones you got at the river ranch. My kids over all enjoyed the river ranch. The mini golf course was a joke but everything else was pretty decent. Would I stay here again? Yes, it wasnt terrible. Some aspects can be improved on, but I would definitely Explore my options first before choosing this one first. I redeemed my business card points to give my family a little vacation! And I selected this place based on the deal I got. If that matters to whos reading this.

We've come here many times in the last 10 years. It's great for kids, relaxing for parents, and we spend the days at the River Ranch. There are other smaller pools, mini golf, and a kids club. During the summer they do movies on Saturday evenings at the pool. The pool area is in need of a serious makeover and honestly it has been this way for as long as I can remember. The tile and the pool is all falling off. I'm not sure the is a good time to close the pool to fix these things, given that it's always pool weather in AZ. The chairs are new since we were last here and there are quite a few umbrellas. We went to Rico's for breakfast. It's good but overpriced. Maybe not bad for 2 people, but for 5 of us it was over $100 for the buffet. Rooms are nice, maybe a little outdated but that didn't bother me. Being used to Homewood Suites, I wish the rooms had a better fridge and a microwave. You can request a microwave and it will cost $15, however they didn't charge us since we have 2 kids with food sensitivities so it's easier to bring some of their food.

By far my favorite resort Ive stayed at. The pool is amazing. Especially the pool at North Pointe..almost the whole reason I go. Love the swim up bar. The pulled pork nachos at the River Ranch are SO good and the Blue Hurricane drink at both bars is super good. Jim was our bartender at the pool at North Pointe (agave suites) was fabulous. The bed..isnt that comfortable, but everything else definitely makes up for it. 10/10 would totally recommend to a friend.

Great rooms/suites & great service. Hotel dining was also exceptionally delicious. Close Uber ride to several wonderful restaurants, some within walking distance as well. Offers a very nice spa & workout facility. Great family spot if you decide to visit water park/ lazy river.

The room is spacious and although we were in a room right across from a pool it was exceptionally quiet even while kids were in the water playing at night. The lazy river is free, mini golf is free, the water slides are free. No food or drink is allowed in the park but the rule is pretty chill, no one checked our bags. A soda is $4.50 but you can go into the store and get a bottle of soda for $3.50. Also, there are free water coolers all over the lazy river area. I brought in my Yeti with no problems to refill at the water stations.

Beautiful grounds, very Lush, makes you feel like you're at a tropical resort. I love this place I never even knew it was here. It's a hundred seven degrees right now and there is a lady walking past me with a coat on, I'm not talking about just a light windbreaker this woman has on a long trench coat it's black cashmere. And she's got on long blue jeans and a heavy sweater, you got to be kidding me I'm sweating just walking from my room to my truck. You got to be kidding me.? It's a hundred for freaking degrees outside how are these people dressed in sweatshirts and top coats and sweaters and long pants? I don't understand this at all have I fallen into the Twilight Zone? This is unreal but I digress Apartments here, or they would call and Condominiums probably charge you $400,000 to live in a two-bedroom apartment or I mean condominium but if you were an older person and had the money you wouldn't care I guess you're living one of them, or if you are a snowbird this would be perfect for you because they have maid service and restaurants right on the facility and there's a gym and Pool and sauna and rec room all kinds of nice things here. I don't know I guess I have to wait till I get old or wait until I get a lot of money anyways. Well it is a Hilton so one would expect that beautiful Resort I mean, Hilton is known for that are they not? Anyways I'll take some pictures tomorrow and I will add them to my description of the grounds okay thank you for allowing me to post my review

We have always wanted to do a road trip through Arizona, and we decided to do it for our honeymoon. The start of our trip was phoenix, so we booked a place at Point Hilton Squaw Peak... what a great establishment. Liana at the front desk helped us upgrade our room and they also sent us up a bottle of champagne and treats! So sweet! Many amenities here, tons of restaurants on the property, many pools (sadly the lazy river was too crowded and dirty for me but the spa pool is nice! We are pleased.

The casitas make for a great family vacation experience. Ours was a "stay-cation" to enjoy the water activities at the river ranch. Hotel staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. Only slightly disappointed that the hot tub didn't have effective water jets... Would definitely stay again!

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HoteIRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The resort is amazing and fun! The staff is welcoming and helpful. Our family enjoyed the water park and all the amenities at the resort. Even if you don't want to eat here there are plenty of options available. Our room was clean and big enough for our family of 5. We'll sure will be back!

So many things for the kids to do! I stopped counting the number of pools because everywhere you look; there's a pool! The spa is worth every penny. My husband and I each had a massage and it was incredible. The amenities there are also top of the line. The room was nice; could use some updating in the interior but provided us plenty of space for our visit.

The resorts that I have stayed within the past, definitely maintain their room a lot better and nicer. The room had a 70s vibe, dust on the lights and fire alarm, wallpaper peeling off and tile coming undone in the shower. Plus, everything cost extra when you stay there, where most places its all in the price. With the name Hilton, you would expect a great experience and top notch, but not here.

This resort was a lot of fun, we had a great time with our 15 month old at the water park. All employees were friendly and our service at the pool was great! Only reason for the low rating is right when we checked in and got to our room our 15 month old stepped on a piece of broken glass that didnt get cleaned up from the people in our room previously and cut his foot open. We called the front desk and they sent someone with a disinfectant and a band aid. Im not one to ask for things but I thought maybe somewhat of a discount of our stay or a complimentary breakfast would have been nice for our son bleeding all over the floor.

I have stayed here twice in the last 30 days however it will be my last! The rooms were supposedly recently updated if they were they should look for a new contractor there were chips in the bath tub the size of a dime the carpet looked worn and the over all cleanliness was poor. They charge a 28.00 resort fee and have a nice water park however it closes at 7:00 PM so if you work all day don't expect to use it. Such a beautiful place to bad it is not better managed.

Nice resort. Stayed here on corporate retreat. Nice studio suite with King Bed. The pillows were amazing!!! And the bed was very comfortable. I haven't slept that good in a long time. Living room area was cozy. Bathroom was a bit small (had to close the door to get to the toilet paper otherwise it was blocked from reach). Nice flat screens in both living room & bedroom + refrigerator. We were on the 4th floor, corner room. It was very quiet. We used the elevators at times, but took advantage of the steps too. We did more site seeing in Phoenix, so we didn't see much of the resort (water park, or pool) :/ that was a bummer. Others seemed to really enjoy it. They have a Spa on the grounds that I really wanted to get to, but didn't get a chance. My husband used the gym & said it was nice. You can rent a car from the resort for $30, for the day, to get around, which is really nice & very convenient. The staff was AMAZING! From the cleaning crew to the concierge, to the reservation clerks. They were all great! The waiters/waitress, during our corporate dinner, were average & on the dry side (I don't want to be here attitude). Other than that, I loved this place!

Although the pool area is great, the rooms need work. Last remodel of our room had to have been in the late 90's, early oughts. Lots of families and many restaurants within walking distance that are very good and far less expensive than hotel offerings. Although a Hilton Resort, it's more of a Hampton Inn kind of atmosphere.

Pros: majority of staff is friendly and nice, beautiful view, ok food Cons: housekeeping, maintenance of property and management Overall very disappointed in the housekeeping of the rooms. Found a wrapper and food in the pullout so not sure those sheets were clean. Sheets not changed even when you leave the card asking for sheets to be changed. Soiled sheets were left on the bed but the tip was accepted by the staff. My child was playing in the dust on the dresser. My family of four was staying. We were lucky if enough towels and toiletries were left each day. One towel was stained when opened so not sure about the cleanliness of the towels. Towels are typical of low end hotels. The poolside food service is understaffed. The hotel has very few staff around. One guest was playing catch with his child from the 3rd floor balcony to the pool. This only stopped when the ball was accidentally thrown to another balcony. No staff ever came by. The water park ran out of towels everyday I was at the water park. The longest wait for a towel was an hour. Other guests were smart and walked back to their hotel and brought pool towels themselves. The water park has not maintained the grounds well. The tennis instructor took our tennis court even though it was resevered the day before. The staff explained he commonly does this. Had to ask him to leave the court and he kept on with his lesson. I wouldnt be able to say he was kind. Given the price of the resort, would recommend others give consideration to the other options available in the area.

Really fun water park. Its included in the resort fee with the room. The food is pricey- resort fees- but was pretty good. Only thing to improve was the chicken strips could be better quality for the price and fries cost extra. Otherwise a good time was had by all. The putt-putt is fun as well! More towels needed - try ran out early morning.

Just left this hotel. We stayed for two nights for spring training and spent 450 a night. Our casita was old, dirty, and had gnats flying all around the rooms. Our tub wouldnt stop dripping and was SO loud while trying to sleep. The refrigerator was so loud that our six year old asked if it was a bomb. It ticked all night long. When mentioned to staff, they shrugged with non concern. We have stayed in many hotels, and we should not have payed more than 150 a night for what we received. The pool is fun, but again, very old and dirty. We will NOT stay here ever again.

This place is GREAT for familys very kid friendly and good drinks for the adults. Pool service is a little slow and drinks are a little pricey, but you cant complain. Another nice touch is the food, every place I ate at was great for the whole family. The Ricos grille is amazing for breakfast and just a 2/3 min walk from anywhere there. Also the whole in the wall restaurant has amazing food. Staff is friendly and this place is all around great!

This was a nice hotel. Rooms were clean and really big. Things to be aware of if the amount of walking from your room to other parts of the property due to how spread out the rooms are. Pools/hot tubs are small and usually full. The bar and restaurant are good and the staff is very helpful. The water park on site was a nice feature, and the lazy river was fun and relaxing. It's not really close to downtown, and there aren't many places within walking distance so plan on having a car.

This place was awesome. It was hard to find a resort in Arizona that had all the pools open over New Years. This place fit the bill. Our room was a little small, but after we got there I realized there are a lot of options for rooms to rent, including some condos. They have two or three on-site restaurants, we ate at two different ones. The one by the pool was okay, the one in the corner of the parking lot was a little bit nicer. The pools were amazing. Lazy river, pool with basketball and volleyball, water slides, and a kids club. The Kids Club was also open over New Years. We didn't end up using it, but it looked fun in there. There are some nice trails nearby for hiking. The staff was very friendly, and they have an on-site coffee shop / convenience store where you can pretty much get anything you need. My kids are all elementary school age, and good swimmers. If they were smaller and not independent swimmers, this place may have been a bit stressful. It kind of winds around and it would be difficult to see them all.

It was just a staycation for us, but we definitely enjoyed our stay (even though I was sick with a cold throughout our visit). I was surprised by the amount activities available for kids. My girlfriend's son is eleven, and he really enjoyed the water park that they incorporated into the property. The staff was excellent, and very accommodating. A great example is thus: we went in fairly early, and were one of the first people with a kid(s). The water slide hadn't been turned on yet. A sign posted by the stair entrance said to contact the staff, and they immediately turned it on, and even had someone by posted at the landing pool. That they were willing to do this, for just one of their guests (even after we had already checked out), was really appreciated.

Beautiful resort. I stayed in a pool side suite, which was clean and well kept. The bed was comfy, the pools were gorgeous, the onsite staff was really helpful. The Ranch was really fun to spend free time at. The restaurant on property - Rico's - was OK. A little pricey with not a lot of options, but the food was good. I would definitely stay here again. Very relaxing but plenty of options for family fun too.

Maybe ok if you want the resort part (be prepared for the almost $30 resort fee they tack on regardless of if you use anything) but as a hotel it's a waste. It's an older hotel that looks like it was remodeled by a cheap flipper. The digital key didn't work so I had to wander the maze back to the desk. The AC unit (despite running all night)while it got to 50 outside) only managed to lower the room temp from 72 to 71 in 9 hours. And the bedroom is tiny...each bed nearly touches the wall. As a gold member I was supposed to have waters in my room...didn't so I asked and they said they'd send some up (still waiting the next day...). While this is the closest hotel to the office I visit regularly, I'll go back to staying 10 minutes away at a "lower" hotel like Hampton because it's a much better experience.

This place is amazing! Went here for the Master Chef tryouts/auditions. They have excellent pricing and the property is amazing! There are at least 2 gift shops, two or 3 restaurants (several more within walking distance) and the rooms are incredible! They also have casitas which looked very nice for a family weekend. The highlight of the facility was the last river and pool area with mini-golf!

This place is rather disappointing for a Hilton. We stay here for the price and the big pool facilities. But it is getting pretty run down. The lazy river is incredibly slow and really dirty. I will look again tomorrow to see if they cleaned it out. The hot tub in the North section is green. Ick! The little kids are having fun but I am used to higher standards from a Hilton.

Great resort with lots of things to do. Wonderful water park, tennis, basketball, fitness center, spa, restaurants and more, all within the resort! If that's not enough, it is located near lots of restaurants and good shopping. David Richardson is the best concierge ever! He will personalize your stay and help you find as many activities as you desire or help you make it as nice and relaxing as you desire. Also, he has a warm, welcoming friendly personality. He alone is worth the stay! I look forward to visiting this resort again in the future.

I went with a large group and the resort was perfect. The level of service in every area of the resort was outstanding. Some rooms are dated (they are in the process of upgrading), but the older rooms are very clean and well maintained. And the whole point is to get out of the room and enjoy the multiple pools, putt putt, water slide, lazy river and gym/spa. Resort location is convenient.

I was very disappointed... - Pools not heated - restaurants under staffed - kids everywhere screaming - suana and steam room out of order - jacuzzi jets don't work - charged extra for renovated room..... - drinks overpriced $12 for cocktail It was miserable. Front desk staff was hospitable though. And water slide area was nice.

The water smelled like mold. Carpet and furniture where dated. The room takes forever to cool down. Only 2 bottles of water in the room complimentary. Not drinking that nasty smelling water, actually I took a sip for medication. It made me gag. The price was way out of line in my opinion.

One of my favorite resorts in the Phoenix area. This is my tenth time back to the property and it never disappoints. I've stayed in the casitas and the regular rooms and all have been top notch. Love the lazy river, the pools and amenities... The staff is top notch to boot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, super clean resort in the Phoenix area.

Our first room was basically a closet. We were able to upgrade to a much nicer room. The resort seems very kid friendly and family oriented. The pool is very nice and my daughter really enjoyed playing in it. There's even a small wading pool for the little ones. The Hole in the Wall restaurant, on the property, leaves a lot to be desired. Overall we've really enjoyed our stay.

The place was built in the 70s & the rooms really have not been updated since. They are currently remodeling one wing of rooms and some of the casitas, so they are on the right track. The pool areas.were.very nice with great furniture. The water park was great. The staff very friendly. Get the rooms updated and would add 1.5 stars.

With my family because my dad had a train in a course there. Hotel was great. The only issue is the heat, which is more of an Arizona on August issue than a hotel issue. Would love to enjoy all the stuff offered here in December when it's bearable. Room it's well laid out, with the ability close off the bedroom from a tv/sitting room.

Nice hotel! The pools are what it's all about, though. There are smaller pools in each of the hotel wings, and the big River Ranch water park nearby. The River Ranch has a really large pool with a beach entrance, volleyball net and a large waterfall with benches underneath. Around the corner is the water slide and tad pool. There is a long lazy river that goes through some cool shaded areas. There's also a sport pool with a basketball hoop and volleyball net. Miniature golf, tennis and basketball courts are included, too. Not to mention plenty of chairs and tables to hang out and soak up the sun. A great hotel pool experience!

My family and I had a blast. Staff was very nice and attentive to our needs and requests. Rooms are nice and clean. Food and drinks are great. Would definitely stay at this resort again.

It's currently under construction for remodeling but the rooms were nice and comfortable. The river ranch water park is overrated. It's a lazy river and 1 water slide and a pool. The lazy river is full of rowdy kids, the pool was cold, and the water slide didn't slide - everyone got stuck. But there's a sprouts less than a half mile away and a fridge in the room. Staff is very generous with toiletries, towels, and coffee!

Looks like someone has tried to keep the decor up to date. Carpet floors and old shower fixings. The staff has been very nice and welcoming. Over all good deal. We would have paid the same price for a water park minus the hotel. I can't get over the smell of aged hotel....

Absolutely the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Got us in right away. Let us check in a little early. Rico's restaurant was awesome (Phil the server was awesome). And Julie at the outdoor pool bar was awesome. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
