I have lived here for 5 years and occupied 3 different units on the property. My first experience was great and I love the property. A few months after my move to this property tho, management changed, playground was removed & replaced with a fire pit that is useless, volleyball court was removed & replaced with a dog park, pool was not taken care of on a regular basis, hot tub became broken & NEVER fixed for about 2 years. In the past 2 years that I've lived here, the pool & hot tub maintenance has improved a little but not completely. I relocated to the third different unit in January 2017 & had MANY problems this past year. Besides paying a ridiculous amount of rent and it being $200 more than some of the other exact size and floor plans that other tenants occupy ( I know personally), the parking problems, gate problems, rude neighbors and infestation of roaches and the negligence of the property management to control the situation is totally unacceptable. They have been made aware of the problem since i moved in and calls have been made for pest control on a regular for probably the past 5-6 months with no elimination of roaches. Also have mail problems! I've filed a claim with the post office for online orders that were Paid for & never received because the mail carrier put my order in someone else's mailbox. I still receive everyone elses mail in my box as well the entire 5 years living here. I'm counting the days I have left because I can't wait to get out of here!

Hello everyone, I moved into southwind apt April of 2017. I was accommodated by Justin, who is no longer there but he was great! he made my move in as easy as possible. Since I've moved in i've had to put in numerous maintenance request because the people here seem to rather PATCH UP things instead of COMPLETELY FIXING the problem. So if you have issues with your apartment EXPECT them to be REOCCURRING! My microwave goes out every week. My lights in my front room go out once a week. my shower spout, Maintenance "sealed" it back on during the day, that night it was hanging off again! UPDATE: just recently there have been numerous break ins, management has been tellin tenants theres nothing they can do about fixing the cameras they just have to file a report and move on. Dumpsters stay overflowing , gates are never working. They legit just want the money guys. None of your concerns mater after you sin hose papers I promise!! POSITIVE: your neighbors, shopping centers, Grocery stores Also please be sure you have no delays in paying rent or any serious concern because the people in this front office lacks compassion or sympathy of any kind and do not care to work with you FOR ANYTHING! The Property Manger "TAMMY" tells her associates to constantly say shes busy so that she can avoid real situations. Someone tell me why is its ok for you to avoid a PAYING TENANT!!!???? She has yet to reach out to me, even after i stressed to her associates how important it was i speak to her. I Honestly cant wait until my lease is up here!!!

I love this place for living..very nice, calm, Friendly..a place where feel secure with my kids..nice pool and clean areas..we have everything very close..excellent attention of Claire, she was very patient because of my English..thank you

Southwind is a great place to live. I visited and went on numerous tours before choosing Southwind and it is a decision I do not regret. Tasha was excellent and made me feel very welcome. The location is perfect, and the price is right! This is my first apartment and I am very pleased with my experience.

Southwind has been a wonderful home for us. We feel very safe and accommodated.The staff members here have been uncommonly kind and helpful to my husband and I. We have made great friends here, and the tenants have proven to be considerate and polite. We love the pool, the workout room, and the many amenities offered here. I would highly recommend this apartment community to anyone.

I love these apartments! The area is great. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. They are great with repairing things as well. Always within 48 hours. My only complaint would be that the appliances are bottom line, but hey, a crappy washer/dryer set is better than none, right?
