The Tadousac Apartments were designed by renowned Omaha architects John and Allan McDonald in 1919. Sitting on a small rise of land with its beautifully landscaped courtyard, the Tadousac projects a majestic appearance. The construction of the Tadousac features poured concrete walls and ceilings throughout the structure.

The Tadousac lies within a designated historic district. Combined with its two off-street parking lots, the Tadousac spans between Harney Street and Dewey Avenue on 38th Avenue. Conveniently located within easy walking distance to the University of Nebraska Medical Center and to major bus routes, the Tadousac is ideal for those who prefer not to drive.

The Tadousac has several different floor plans with one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations. The smallest floor plan has a separate living room, kitchen and bathroom and a bedroom with huge closets. There are three other one-bedroom floor plans, each with a dining room and one with a den. Three different two-bedroom floor plans are found in the Tadousac-all with one bathroom. A convenient storage locker in the basement area is included with every apartment. Off-street parking is available for an additional monthly fee. Indoor mail areas let you pick up mail without leaving the building. Coin operated laundry facilities are located in three areas of the Tadousac. All entries into the Tadousac are locked at all times, but intercoms in the apartments permit you to converse with guests in the lobby areas and to permit entry without leaving your apartment. Steam heat keeps the building warm during the winter months, and window air conditioners and ceiling fans keep the building cool in the summer. Residents pay electric, cooking gas and percentage based heat costs. Sorry, pets are not permitted in the Tadousac.
