CSU is a relatively safe campus with zero arrests on campus and only 4 reports of property crime over the past year. In the city of Morrow, there were 4 rapes, 17 robberies, 7 assaults, 64 burglaries, and 727 thefts reported in 2011. There are 4.9 law enforcements officials per 1,000 residents in Morrow which is better than the rest of the state of Georgia which only has 2.78 officers per 1,000 residents. There is slightly more crime in Morrow than in neighboring cities such as Jonesboro and Lake City, but in comparison to College Park, Morrow is safer.
