When relocating to Madison from Leavenworth, Kansas VA, I lived at the Oakbrige Apartments ,Ellen at that time was manager, very helpful with my transfer, apartments were very nice, the properties are always maintained and staff was wonderful, I lived there for 2 years before moving to another property Silver Stone which is a beautiful property as well, neighbors were nice even though I'm a private person...lol..and lived there for a year before downsizing to a 1 bedroom at the Lamplighter location, with Heather as the manager, wonderful person, and is always there to help with anything, this property company is wonderful, and I wouldn't move anyway else because they have all I need in an apartment home, keep up the good work. Thanks Lena g.

I really like my one bedroom, and have had an excellent experience working with people at T. R. Mckenzie. My maintenance requests have been handled quickly every time, and the management office always communicates well with me -- during my lease signing, when I have questions, and for my renewal. My only slightly negative experience was a surprisingly high jump in my rent one year -- the apartment was still a good value, though, and the property managers upgraded some of my flooring and painted with my choice in paint colors. I'm updating this in December 2016: I recently had my car stuck in the snow on the ramp near the garages at Lamplighter and had very good experience dealing with the aftermath with the property management group at T. R. Mckenzie. My property manager was so understanding and apologetic about the problem, advocated for me with the office, and got me a reimbursement for my towing expense. This was so completely different than the extremely negative horror stories I hear from friends dealing with other property managers in the Madison area.
