Bell Walker's Crossing is a great place to call home. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly. Kelly Diane Wilder, leasing consultant, is simply the BEST!! She is super responsive and beyond helpful. I was super nervous about moving across the country, to an apartment I have never seen. Diane was there for me every step of the way, even still, after we have moved in. Honestly, her responsiveness is the reason we chose Bell Walker's Crossing

I've lived at Bell Walker's Crossing since April (about 4 months), and it has been the best apartment experience I've had -- and I've had many. The office team is really nice, and the maintenance guys are responsive and pleasant. No apartment community is without its issues, but the team here has always reacted quickly to my requests, from fixing a running toilet to pest control. The grounds are well-maintained (I know -- I walk my dogs 2-3 times daily around the entire property), and it's a quiet community (also, the insulation in the building is pretty good -- i'm in the middle of three floors and don't hear a lot of neighbor noise). I even feel safe as a single woman walking my dogs at night. Love the dog bathing area, the fact that I can walk out my door and be on a greenway in 3 minutes, and the gym is sufficient for a good workout. I recently purchased a house and will be moving out next month, but this has been a great place to live and I would recommend it to my friends or family members. Thanks, BWC team for making this such a good experience!

Dont go by the looks. The apartments are not habitable. It was full of mold and meldew within few months since we moved. Maintenance crew immediately responded and cleaned it up as much as they can. It took management a month to get it completely cleaned by hiring some external company. The chemicals they used was so horrible. We had to keep all the windows open so we can breathe. It was at the end of the lease so we did bother to complain again. Luckily, I didnt sign up for an year. After moving out they charged me again to clean the smell. I told them it was because of their clean up. They told me, they will check and come back. They never bothered to call me and in a few months I see it in collections. The maintenance crew is excellent. They come as soon as you complain and they will fix it quickly. Update: After reading my review, management got to the bottom of it and fixed the issue.

I will call this an open and in progress review since I have just moved in 13 days ago and I'm new to the renting process. Not crazy about the up and down roller coaster rent cost you'll see before you decide on this community. If you don't sign a lease or reserve quickly you may see that the rent may go up $20.00 or more from the first price you saw. And that is something to think about when my lease is up next year. I'm sure they'll raise it and they'll say that's the way it goes. I have to honestly say that the Lady that I contacted and lead me through the process to get this apartment did a fabulous job. She is on her game. If she doesn't know something she finds out. She is not to blame for the pricing, although with pricing comes quality representatives like her. So this place is worth the price. She made sure the carpet was cleaned a second time, even though it appeared spotless. The apartment is clean. And she took care of me. Thank you Diane. I am concerned about some of the reviews I have read regarding vehicle breakins. It seems like a quiet neighborhood, but I guess there are always going to be thieves around. If I catch someone in my vehicle that isn't supposed to be in it, it may not be a pretty ending for the thief. My apartment has this hotel/motel kinda smell that just won't go away. Manager said it's new paint smell. It's more like a new paint over smokers smell. The residents right above me have heavy feet, And never walk lightly. I call them the Stompers. Anyways: So far Bell Walker's Crossing is okay, but I will be updating and editing this review throughout my stay here at Bell Walker's Crossing. At least once a month. And I sure hope it starts smelling better. I've installed two Hawaiian Scent airwicks, and they're on full blast! The pool looks nice, I haven't used it yet though.

As someone who moves quite a bit, I find Bell Walker's Crossing to be a wonderful respite from difficult landlords, subpar apartments, and poor attention to detail. At Bell Walker's the apartments are well kept, clean, and well equipped with everything in proper working order. The staff has been nothing but friendly, accessible, and helpful. The maintenance is respectful and very timely in response to work orders. The grounds have an abundance of trees and paths, and it is a very pet-friendly community, providing a dog park and numerous stations where you can grab a bag to pick up after your pet. There is a pool and several public areas that are very well maintained and comfortable. Just a short two minute walk way is a tree lined path to jog or take your dog for a walk. Overall this is a wonderful place to live!

Moved to Bell Walkers Crossing on the recommendation of a co-worker. The staff has been extremely accommodating and helpful. Maintenance is quick and easy to schedule. Grounds are kept up beautifully and so are the apartments. Love having a dog park on premises and having sidewalks to walk my dogs around the complex. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Great place to live in terms of the floor plans, customer service and maintenance work, but the lease breaking policy is very costly. Required is 60 day's notice plus an additional month's rent.

It's a very nice place to live, there is a pool and a laundry room available. They are quick to help out and usually fix a problem the same day you requested.

Like anywhere else, it has good points and bad points. Bad: -Don't believe the free massage gimmick, there are far fewer appointments than residents and they are restricted to times that are mostly during business hours, so if you have a job then you probably can't get any free massages -Rather expensive rent -Thin floors transmit noises from above -Only allows Comcast for internet/television -Very limited storage space. No drawers in bathroom, only 1 small closet in bedroom -Old, poorly functional dishwasher and sink disposal -Hot water runs out quickly during normal human hours. Thankfully I work very early so rarely an issue for me Good: -Location provides proximity to several areas of town and immediate access to freeway -Friendly, helpful staff -Beautiful pool, albeit with restricted hours -Generally quiet neighborhood, rarely see neighbors unless you want to -Usually very quick response from maintenance crew -Office is open late a few days each week and 1-5 on Sunday Overall, I'm fairly satisfied. There are certainly better places, but there are quite a few that are worse. I'd give Bell Walker's Crossing 3.9/5 stars.

Lived here for 1 year, the apartments are expensive but decently nice-looking so I went with it. They are "pet-friendly" and require the usually $200 or $300 pet fee (I don't remember which it was). Very nice pool, club house, staff, and gym facilities. Offer massages free on a first come first serve basis monthly. Maintenance requests are relatively quick to be handled, I had issues with my garbage disposal, heat out once, air out once, and the ceiling in the bathroom caved in due to a leak from the upstairs apartment. This last repair took 3 weeks in total to complete and was a major inconvience to feel like you're showering in a stinky moldy shower every day - I could see the top apartment's bathtub through the hole in the ceiling. They also bill your water according to the group of units you live in and split it. Often I was paying $40+/month in water for just myself. What put me off the most is that on move-out inspection I was notified they will be blacklighting all carpeted areas for urine (since I had a pet) and if they find any I will be charged the cost of replacement carpet. I have lived in about 6 different apartment complexes over the years with my dog and have never heard of this. Ever. Ususally the pet fee covers the cost of cleaning carpets after move out. My dog is well-trained and does not pee inside, however, she does have an allergy condition that causes her to vomit more frequently than most dogs. I can guess it maybe happens 8-10 times/year. Even with this issue the carpet still looked great on move-out day, maybe the best I've ever had in an apartment but I will still be charged to re-carpet an apartment that was carpeted last year because my dog threw up on it. Plus the $300 I paid to have a pet anyway. I would advise pet owners to take their money elsewhere.

If I had to suggest an apartment complex, it would be this one. When I lived here I lived in a 2 bedroom for 4 years. I loved how convenient everything...

PROS: Good location. Decently new apartments. Maintenance is quick and effective, provided you make any less-than-obvious issues very clear. CONS: Expensive rent, corporate feel. Bell owns many complexes in several states. Prices are set by software and can change by the minute. 28 page lease that I frankly found a bit scary. Cars are broken into here quite frequently. Mine was on the fourth night here (along with 3 other cars). Basically the attitude is you leave something visible, you get whats coming to you. While I admit its not directly the complexs fault, they do nothing in the way of security but claim there is a security officer. After over 10 months here, I have never seen any sign of a security officer. A small fraction of 1 months rent from this complex alone could buy a nice security system that would solve SO many issues here. Dog poop is everywhere. Not just in the grass, but often on the sidewalk. Once, it was 5 feet from my door. Parking issues. Since there are no assigned spots, if you get a good spot, better make sure you never leave home if you wanna keep it. Ive left for 10 minutes and had my spot taken many times. So then I had to park around the corner and further from any windows that might discourage a thief. I was nagged a bit about renewing my lease beginning at 9 months in here by emails, the last of which offered a $50 increase on my rent. No thanks, considering Ive never actually had *any* increase at the other apartments I lived at. The policy is that they need a *60 day* notice prior to moving out, even when your lease is expiring!! Dunno about you, but Ive never heard of such a beyond-strict policy. Normally its 30 days, and thats not usually even enforced unless youre a problematic tenant.

Pros: friendly staff, nice buildings Cons: 1. Getting any actual customer service is hard. The staff is nice, but the general answers are "let me talk to ......." and then they call to tell you "no." 2. "supply and demand" pricing. We got a good deal, so once our first year was up we decided to transfer to a smaller apartment for better rent. After agreeing on an apartment, we were changed to a different one a couple weeks before the move. The new one was a "great deal" so the rent will increase after a year (what we were trying to avoid). 3. Maintenance. While generally pretty good, they are slow, and failed to fix the cause of water damage in the apartment above me. This caused water damage to my apartment and I was told I had to put it onto my renter's insurance. Overall: Nice for one year. Bad if you want to know what you are going to have to pay at any given time or have any problems with the apartment.

The staff is AMAZING. They really go out of their way to make you feel like you are at home. I have lived in a number of places and this one is the most friendly, involved and welcoming I have found. You do not have to do anything here. They take care of everything. They are also very pet freindly which is sometimes hard to find. I would highly recommend. The interior of the apartments are quite nice. We comparing other luxury apartments the Walkers Crossing community is at the top. The only thing I would like to see changed is having a gate at the entrance instead of the only gate at the rear of the complex.
