Many annual events take place in Jackson. CelticFest Mississippi and Festival Latino happen every September, and the Mississippi State Fair and OUToberfest happen every October. In March, there is Mal’s St. Patty’s Day Parade, and in April, the Crossroads Film Festival. Every four years, an International Ballet Competition is held in Jackson. Jubilee!JAM used to be a two-day live music and arts festival that happened each June, but 2009 was its last year. Special exhibits are often held at the Mississippi Museum of Art, as well as the Museum of Natural Science. The first Jackson Rhythm & Blues festival is scheduled for Fall 2013, where Grammy winner Buddy Guy, as well as numerous other musicians, will perform.
