I lived here my senior year of college and absolutely loved it. The neighborhood is very nice. It is maintained daily so even though college kids are always partying and littering, the staff does a great job maintaining everything. The staff is really helpful all the time. The price wasnt bad for how cute the apartments are either. I would definitely recommend this to friends or family! Oh and theres always parking which always seems like a pain if you live closer to the UF campus. They have convenient study places and a gym inside the clubhouse. The bus stops also run every 15 min from home to UF so that was convenient. I enjoyed spending my last year as a Gator here!

The Woodlands of Gainesville is a great place to live! I have lived in other apartment complexes but never had a good experience. At the Woodlands, the staff is super friendly and helpful! The apartments are beautiful and the club house is really nice too! I have had such a great experience living at the Woodlands this year that I already resign for next year! This is the best student living community for both UF and Santa Fe students. I love it at the Woodlands!

The woodlands is a great place. Probably one of the best in Gainesville. It's not too far, the complex is beautiful and so is the apartment. The utilities work well and the staff is really friendly. Maintenance fixes things pretty quickly and the office gives away lots of free stuff every now and then. What's the best about this place is how cheap it is for what you are getting. I live in a 44 and I only pay 500. Pets are free to keep which is great! Overall great complex, much better than the one I used to live in. I paid 150 dollars more to live 5 minutes closer to school. Now I've moved 5 minutes farther but saved so much money. I recommend this place, you get your money's worth and it is very safe. I've never had a problem with safety. My only complaint is that I wish they had more dumpsters, but it's ok walking a little to throw the trash out isn't that bad.

I used to live at WOG several years ago and absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious, they are pet friendly, and have the best pool in town! The staff at that time was phenomenal and I made some of the best memories that I still cherish to this day!

Living at the Woodlands has been a great experience. I was excited to sign a lease at this apartment complex for the college atmosphere that is provided on the complex. For those that are thinking about living here this is what I wish I knew before I signed: -Most of the time maintenance does a great job getting to you and fixing a problem quickly. -If you are taking a bus to get to UF there is only one bus that goes directly to UF. -The amount of care that The Woodlands staff takes to include all residents and provide cool opportunities is one of a kind! You will not regret signing a lease here.

I have lived at the Woodlands for two years now and can genuinely say that I absolutely love it here! The cost is a bit higher than some of the other apartments in the area but it's totally worth it. It is incredibly safe here, very spacious, all of my neighbors in my building are awesome, staff is so friendly, and maintenance is fantastic! Im actually pretty shocked at all of the negative reviews people are leaving on here. I live in a 4/4 at the Woodlands and find it to be very spacious (my bedroom, bathroom, closet, and shared living) and homey. If we ever need maintenance they always come within 24 hours, they are constantly changing out our air filters or whatever else needs to be replaced, pest control comes out once a week if they are ever needed, lots of parking/no towing, once a year you get one GRU audit, short bus ride/drive to both UF and Santa Fe, and for the most part the printer almost always works (not sure why people on the reviews say it doesn't). Lots of great resident events, really nice pool, and a wonderful clubhouse! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

I love living here. Ive lived here two years and signed a lease for a third. The month-to-month leans a little higher than the other college apartments in the area, but its absolutely worth every penny. On top of the top-quality apartments, they have one of the best apartment gyms in town. The staff blew me away with their genuine care and interest in the tenants. Theyve gone out of their way to help me when I was in need or brighten my day on multiple occasions, even off the clock. It really feels like a community here. Always friendly. Always home.

I went to the leasing office at The Woodlands a couple weeks back and was genuinely taken aback as to how friendly and helpful the office staff were. I went on a tour and all my questions were answered thoroughly. The staff clearly knew what they were talking about. I've been touring a few apartment complexes over the past month and The Woodlands definitely made the best impression and made me like a valued future resident.

My son has lived at the woodlands for three years. We couldn't ask for a better experience. The staff is very professional and work hard to exceed expectations. Maintainance does a great job of fixing things in a timely manner. They also have great community activities at the clubhouse. I recommend for anyone moving to Gainesville.

I have lived at The Woodlands of Gainesville for over 4 years now. I have loved every single moment of living here. The apartment complex itself is beautiful and feels like home. The staff is amazing and very helpful and actually do care about the residents issues/concerns. The apartments are well designed and I personally love living in the 2/2s. You honestly wont find a better place to live for your college experience. I wish I could renew here for this upcoming year, but Im graduating. Thank you Woodlands for the best living experience!!

I have lived here 2 years and have never had a problem. The grounds are always kept clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Have only had to call maintenance once and it was fixed that day. The pool is the best in town, and the other amenities are awesome. Easy 5 stars, will be happily renewing my lease.

Although I have had a few bad experiences this far, I went to resign because I am comfortable in my apartment and didn't want to move for my final year at UF. So I went into the office and asked to speak with the manager about a few concerns I had before resigning. One being the roach infested apartment we have been dealing with since we moved in in august, the other being the 90$ move out fee I and all my roommates were going to be charged for cleaning, re painting, etc. my problem with the 90$ fee was that our apartment must have been skipped before we moved in because it was absolutely filthy with grease soaking on all aspects of the kitchen, men's hair showering our bathrooms, water stains on every table, just filthy. She told me I'm sorry it wasn't "up to your standard". Hate to break it to you, it was flat out filthy, my "standards" weren't unreasonable. Secondly about the bugs, we have put in 4 work orders for pest control over the 4 months we have lived here. She checked and confirmed that and then proceeded to tell me if we want a big free apartment it's up to us to ask to be sprayed once every month. She told me this after she read off the dates of my request which clearly showed once a month. I told her we only ever saw the guy one time out of every request and she told me she found that "hard to believe." Well the proof is in the pudding, we requested it once every month like she said we were supposed to, but the roach colony in our kitchen even had the exterminator saying "wow" the one and only time he actually came. Basically due to the rude, accusing attitude of the leasing manager I will not be resigning nor recommending this apartment to anyone in the future. I am still in disbelief she blatantly called me a liar when the facts were so obvious to her. So unless you like moving into dirty, noisy, rudely managed apartments, avoid this place at all costs.

So I've had more ups than down while I lived at the Woodlands but I would recommend living there. The apartments themselves are really nice they have new appliances in the kitchen, new furniture, and washer and dryer. The complex is well maintained too, but if you leave trash outside of your apartment they may fine you because of that. The pool is definitely the best thing about the Woodlands (especially when they have a dj and food). My move out fees were def not as bad as everyone else is saying, I only got charged like $60 and it was for a wall paint in my bedroom and some little common area things. I actually thought the office staff was pretty nice and helpful, and ive never had any issue with management either. Overall I would and already have recommended the Woodlands to my friends, and its one of the nicest apts in Gainesville.

I agree with Rachel, the Woodlands is definitely not as bad as everyone says. Compared to other apartments in Gainesville I think Woodlands is one of the top choices. Obviously you're going to pay more for an apartment that looks better, is newer and has a clubhouse thats open 24 hours. Ive never had an issue with maintenance, they usually come out a day or two after i put in my request. The apartments themselves have nice wood flooring and new appliances and the rooms are a pretty good size. The only thing is the lighting in the rooms are a little dim. The complex is beautiful, and the pool and beach volleyball area is pretty awesome too. Even when I have friends that visit from out of town they always tell me how much they love my apartment. And they have a lot of event with free food which is a plus. I live with a friend and a random roommate and they did a great job at at matching us, considering we didn't go to the roommate matching party they have.
