The apartments are super cute! By fair the best 1/1 with a washer and dryer complex in the city that doesn't cost a fortune. Maintenance was fast. The leasing manager was very nice and helpful at the time of resigning. The gym wasn't the worse, but definitely could be better. I moved hours away and my cute apartment is the only thing I'll miss in Gainesville.

Our apartment itself is cute and totally works for us, the only complaint is that the walls are super thin so we can hear the traffic on 75 as well as people in the parking lot. The original leasing agent(Danielle) that helped us get leased was extremely helpful. Initially maintenance was pretty quick but in the last couple months, things have gone down hill. You can NEVER get ahold of the office via phone call or stopping in. They're always "out on lunch or a property tour." Not just once or twice, the last roughly 8 times I've tried to reach them. Maintenance hasn't come out for my requests, the rent check doesnt get pulled from my account for over a month and the online portal is still down.

I've lived at Savannah for 2 years now. Quiet, spacious apartments. Maintenance staff is amazing. Leasing office friendly. The only criticism is the pool area could use more upkeep and cleaning.

I've lived at Savannah for 2 years now. The apartment complex is quiet with a mix of young professionals, families, and some students. The apartments are spacious. I live on the third floor which has vaulted ceilings as an added amenity. The maintenance team is quick, friendly, and witty. I would really recommend Savannah to anyone. The only criticism is the pool area could use more upkeep and cleaning especially during summer months.

4.25 STAIRS! Maintenance *always* did come in a timely manner, and they are very nice, honest, and respectful. Apartment layout and space exceptional. Very quiet @ night, but I heard that is beginning to change. Management personnel changed a lot. There were official office personnel changes four times within my five years. Roaches are few or if any. I had seen only four in five years I lived there. Yay, right? I had sprayed every other month too. At the same time, management used to have pest control come in every other month, but now it's if you call. Everyone knows what that means for roaches in Florida and probably to nice apartments too! What I didn't like was after they painted all the buildings outside, they covered the bottom half of the porch screens with thick plastic; however, now your pets can't see outside. My cats used to enjoy looking outside with a view, especially since they are house pets. Discouraging! Also, what I didn't like was even though you pay 250.00 per pet to move them in, they now charge an additional 10.00 dollars per pet per month too. Further, I didn't like the fact the anyone who had their own washer and dryer, we had to get rid of it, so they could move in their own and to charge more to use it in your rent. That is, why not wait until we moved? Now that didn't feel legal nor right! In concluding, I think it *was* really a nice apartment, but my high rent increases, and pets' happiness meant more to me than to them! In the five years I lived there, in the same apartment, my rent had increased two hundred dollars. Move in promotion or not. That is a lot more for real.

Great complex, quiet and safe. Prices are pretty standard, and sometimes they run specials where you can get a lease for a steal! Apartments themselves are spacious and there is open parking. My only qualms are 1) it's so hard to turn left due to traffic in 62nd, and 2) this place has those massive speed bumps that wreak havoc on low clearance cars!

The new manager is not that skilled in customer service...and notices are placed on our doors very often (informing us they will be entering our apt to do an inspection). I much prefered when the old leasing guy (Luis) was in charge. However, I gave this place 4 stars because the grounds crew is WONDERFUL. Very kind, usually respond to work requests the same day, and have done a great job mulching and planting flowers everywhere. I have lived here for a year and a half. I am a a Gainesville native, so I know the are really well. This is def one of the best places for the lowest price.

The apartment themselves are nothing to jump up and down as they are average apartments, but they are clean and well kept. I haven't had any major issues with my apartment. But the leasing agents and the maintenance people are AMAZING! The agents know you by name and the maintenance staff are willing to go above and beyond. I had a dead car battery and they took the time out of their busy schedule to jump me off :). This is how places are supposed to do business. I would definitely recommend.

I lived here for two years. While the apartments are spacious and reasonably priced, there was a lot about Fairmont Oaks that I didn't care for. They're...

I've lived at fairmont oaks for the past 3 or 4 years in two different units. I have always had a great experience with the management, residents, and maintenance. I would not be leaving if not for moving out of state. I highly recommend this place to families and professional/graduate students. It's a very quiet place to live, and a very convenient city bus (route 20) comes by every 10 minutes during the semester (15 or 20 during the summer).
