Fort Worth is a large city. So large in fact that it is classified at the 17th largest city within the U.S. as well as the fifth largest city in the State of Texas. The city was established in 1849 as a U.S. Army Outpost. In the days of old, Fort Worth was a bustling town due to the large cattle drives that would come through the town. The area is known for its sub-tropical climates. It is very warm in the summer months with moderate winters. The town is full of life and features some really great architecture when it comes to the building structures. Sundance Square in the middle of downtown is one of the pinnacle points where you get a great vantage of all the amazing architecture around the town.

In a town the size of Ft. Worth you want to have your own transportation. This is a fairly large city and not everything is going to be within walking distance. However if you don't have your own mode of transportation then the city does have "The T" which is their local public transportation system. There is so much to see and do in the Fort Worth area. If you are a food lover and especially a barbeque lover then you have come to the right town. There are a variety of food establishments featuring a wide variety of foods to choose from. Fort Worth features a zoo as well as a motor speedway for the racing enthusiast. There is so much to do in this town you couldn't possibly list it all.
