A Local Perspective

Fargo ND
Fargo is the largest city in the State of North Dakota. Nestled in Cass County, Fargo is growing by leaps and bounds every day. With a population of around 224,000 people you can see why this town makes up for 16% or more of the state's population. Fargo was founded in 1871 and is located along the red river. Because of its relative close proximity to Moorhead, Minnesota, Fargo and Moorhead are called sister cities. They literally are connected by the state lines making this an ideal location for someone to relocate to. It's like being given one large metropolis area to live in deep in the heart of the North Dakota countryside.

Finding a Fargo Apartment

When to search

North Dakota winters can be extremely unforgiving. Apartment hunting at this time can be done but it is advised that you look for an apartment in the spring or summer but no later than the first month of fall. Snow has been known to start coming down as early as September in this state. Look for an apartment that is close to the college or where you need to be because if the roads get a little rough at least you could walk to where ever it is you need to go.

Staying in the know
