My husband and I have visited and spent hours in many game shops in our lives, and Funagain Games in Eugene is the one that has permanently earned our respect and our business. The game store is just the right size, with a wonderful selection. If they dont have what you are looking for, they are happy to order it. The gaming space is the nicest in the city, and always seems to accommodate anyone who wants to play there. There is a good balance of people playing Magic, board games, and role-playing games. Most game stores seem to succumb to the trap of pandering only to a certain gaming crowd. Not so at Funagain games. The people who gather here to play games are a diverse group, and we have made many friends. But after frequenting Funagain Games weekly for over a year, it is very clear that the the success of this game store can be directly tied to the incredible people who keep the store running. Cordell and Cary are both wonderful - they are efficient, attentive, helpful and engaged with customers in a way that makes Funagain Games feel like not just a place to buy really cool games, but also like a vibrant community gathering place, where people can socialize in a healthy and connected way. In an age where our exchanges as humans have become increasingly impersonal, this environment is a breath of fresh air. We always look forward to going into Funagain Games, and whenever we need game-related merchandise, there is no place wed rather spend our money. This is a real gem of a game store, and we hope it stays this way long into the future!

I have been in many a board game store in my day and this one might be the best. The store is clean and well organized and looks like retail space instead of a garage that just happens to have games around. Prices are great, you can play games from their library in the gaming area without fuss before buying, or grab the very latest hot game as soon as it hits the market. I mean, what could be better!

Funagain Games has consistently offered an attentive and welcoming atmosphere, and the manager Cary has always responded to my inquiries and questions in a most professional manner. Through the assistance of this shop I'm able to enjoy an age appropriate gaming journey with my son; here's to an enriched and enthusiastic future! Thank you Cary & Funagain for being excellent!

I come sometimes twice a week this is my home away from home. I have only found this place to be absolutely wonderful. youll find a accommodating and knowledgeable staff who will let you just browse or help with a purchase. Plus a great spot to play games I play x wing there and without funagain I wouldnt have gotten to meet some wonderful people and would have missed out on a awesome game and community. Also the manager is super chill I have called a dozen times with questions and I got straight forward answers and help not to mention he actually helped me join a game community so I owe him a big thanks honestly five stars and I do recommend this place to all other gamers this is the game shop to go to.

Excellent gaming and RPG selection, friendly and helpful staff, and oft times if there's a game or book unavailable it can be ordered for you. You'll also find that the vast majority of the prices on many products is at a nice discount from the usual cover price. Many folks also enjoy coming by for cheap and casual nights of board game fun in the spacious back room. On Fridays, the store hosts a Beer & Pizza Night for $5. If you're from out of town, it's a nice place to potentially meet friendly nerdy folks of all ages.

Friendly, no-pressure, hospitable staff, a big and comfy game room in the back (with library of games to try!), and in the rare event they don't have the game you're looking for, they will order it. For board games specifically, this is the place to come. These people are the saviors of a lot of boring afternoons!

I absolutely love Funagain. I am so happy that they opened here. They're my first choice for new board games and I'm thrilled that they've recently had more Call of Cthulhu books too. Pricing had been surprisingly better than expected. Like Charterstone was $5 lower here than anywhere I saw it online during the first week of release. It's not a lot, but still surprised me. I appreciate you guys. :)

This is a true community game store and by far the best in town. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is that it is CLEAN and you will not be bombarded with fantasy posters that feature women in inappropriate armor. The staff is knowledgeable and don't mind hanging out and carrying a good conversation late into the night! Whether you're a casual gamer or a dedicated hobbyist, this is where you want to go in Eugene.

Wow, this is a cool place. Not only do they have an amazing variety of board games, card games, and role playing, but the coolest is they have a room full of used games you can play there at their tables. Great for a rainy afternoon activity.

Great place! Fantastic selection of board, card, and tabletop games. Also has ample room to play games/hang out. There's a massive selection of games that you can just play. They also have drinks sodas and such. Not much on the food end of things, but it's close enough to downtown you can walk to get food.

FunAgain Games is the place to go for the best selection in board games in town. This game shop truly has an uncanny way of being welcoming in its style, it exhibits Eugene's sense of community. It is amazingly well set up as a platform for lighthearted games, a forum for advanced discussion, and fun with friends with good beer and snacks. The worst that could possibly happen is if it become a corporate slush like downtown is becoming. I know a bit of Eugene is coming to this but it's the true face of Eugene that this place portrays FunAgain's local and personal charm and makes so many people want to come back again.

Not the best prices on games in Eugene, but very definitely the best selection of all games available in Eugene! The owner is quite personable and knowledgeable about the games he sells, and they do offer gaming inside his shop as well, so you can test out games before you buy them. His collection of games bounds more than just current things available. He is also willing to talk about everything he sells in high detail!! Worth the stop!!!

This is THE place to buy tabletop games in Eugene/Springfield. The staff is quick to give advice when asked and they're great with kids, too. Though we haven't been to a game night or event, it's just spectacular to see this place thriving and bringing other together.

To be truthful, I can't say much about the games aspect of Funagain -- just about the unexpectedly helpful welcome and service my 11-year-old granddaughter and I got when we wandered in looking for a pair of dice (the old-fashioned 6-sided kind, which we couldn't find anywhere else). Cary greeted us, immediately found a stray pair of dice from an old game, and gave them to us without charge. What a nice guy, what a nice place, and what a good feeling to know that kind of friendly generosity is alive and well in Eugene. Cary chatted with us a few minutes and showed us some of the games in the back. Makes me wish I were young again so I could hang out and learn some new ones. Thanks, Cary, for the dice and the great experience at Funagain Games.
