East El Paso is the largest area of the city and also the most populous. Its cliffs and canyons offer a scenic backdrop to many middle-class single-family homes and apartments, and it is a popular site for new commercial development. Three major shopping centers — Las Palmas Marketplace, Cielo Vista Mall, and Bassett Center — call the area home. It’s not all shopping centers and restaurants, though — located near the Mission Trails area and Hueco Tanks State Historic Site, East El Paso has easy access to the great Southwest beyond the city’s borders.
If you're not sure how much an apartment will cost, the table below shows the average price by size.
