My girlfriend and I recently moved out of the District and we really enjoyed our unit, a 1 Bed/1.5 Bath that was a little over 1,300 sq/ft for about $1,700/month. The rent was increased substantially had we decided to renew (over $2,000/month) and after looking around the area we were able to find a new community with just as many comps/amenities for a significantly cheaper rate. I'd like to start with some positives about the community. The maintenance staff is top notch, the best we've ever had in our time renting. HUGE shout out to those guys! One of the leasing agents was always very kind and understanding of our concerns while living in the community as well and we won't forget that. The proximity to King Soopers, 24 hour fitness, and the small businesses located within the district was and still is an enormous draw, can't beat it. The negative input we have about the community all stemmed from the last 6 months of our lease. There is a strong homeless presence within the district as it is not gated and when we left, still had yet to have security cameras installed. Inebriated/mentally unstable homeless people became a regular part of our experience living here. We raised concerns about safety around Thanksgiving after coming home around 9:00am from a dog park and seeing a homeless man and his LARGE husky on a chain leash exiting our building. We were told they were looking into a resolution to make their community safer but after 5-6 months of checking in, action had yet to be taken. My girlfriend ended up purchasing a stun gun and pepper spray in order to walk our dog after having homeless men follow and harass her. An unacceptable measure to feel necessary for the price point of living here. We understand the district cannot control everyone who comes onto their property but the dismissive nature of our concerns, something as fundamental as safety cannot be overlooked. We were also informed of several car break ins and a couple units being broken into during our year spent here. At times, the front office staff would treat our concerns as though we were inconveniencing them, often times being rather dismissive (especially once we informed them of our decision to not renew our lease). Now, although the community is centrally located to I-25, it would regularly take up to 5 minutes just to get onto the interstate, especially if you are headed southbound. Overall, the district offers has many appealing qualities but the cost of living there is unjustifiable especially considering the safety concerns. If I could give 2.5/5 stars I would as that would be more fair.

The move in process was not as smooth as I had hoped for due to an existing odor, but since then it has been a great complex. The maintenance supervisor and his team are quick to respond and have been great to work with. The office staff is friendly and the complex is pretty quite. I have enjoyed the appreciation events that the leasing office puts on and look forward to the next. The complex is within walking distance to the rail, grocery store, movie theater, several places to eat, and so many other places. The apartments are spacious and have some nice upgrades. Its been a good place to live for my first few months in Denver.

Office and maintenance staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance was always fast to respond. Building is in pretty good condition. I liked the location, and amenities. I also thought it was a quiet environment despite being on the first floor.

My husband and I were initially very excited to move in here; I think that's what has made these situations even more disappointing. The property manager and "most" of the staff are quite helpful. Nonetheless we've experienced a few troubling events since moving in, and a less than desirable customer service response. Within 3 months of moving in, both of our bikes were stolen from the secured garage. Management was kind enough to give us a discount on our rent; however, an email from the Division Manager of this complex was akin to "crime is crime and there's not much we can do about it." A bit condescending. Fast forward to just recently. We reported early morning noise issues to management and the agent in the office at the time had a similar response. Again condescending, leaving us feeling like management assumed we were making up the loud noises from upstairs and complaining just because its fun. We understand its difficult to deal with complaints like these on a routine basis, and certainly we have lowered our expectations (Apartment living after all), but it would've be nice if in both of these instances our interactions with Management were more helpful and less defensive. Despite these situations, we mostly enjoy living here. The property manager Kristin is great and we enjoy their little parties. The location is convenient and the ample parking is great. The Luxor package center is a nice touch also. The price is actually not bad for the area and amenities. I would just caution new tenants to establish proper expectations when it comes to Management intervening on your behalf. Oh and there's a 2 pet allowance here, so make sure you are prepared for that as well. :-)

My wife and I have lived here for almost a year now (the original term of our lease) and we are very happy. Price is a little high, but that's the case almost everywhere in Denver these days. We've always had good service from the office staff and maintenance staff whenever we needed it. The property is well kept up and in a nice area.

I lived in this apartment for one year and it was the best customer service I've ever received. The staff respond to emails promptly and maintenance is done within 24 hours. Everything was incredibly cleanly - they take great care of the exterior and interior. Highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone!

So far this place is great! Our one bedroom apartment has proven to be quite spacious with lots of lighting both natural and from ceiling light fixtures. Parking is great and covered with super convenient access to light rail, movie theater, restaurants etc. I can't think of anything negative to say about this place and my wife and I look forward to our stay here. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The apartment was spotless when I moved in. I'm very picky, and this was one of the only apartments that I've not had to re-clean. The front desk staff is very accommodating and friendly. It's in a great location..tons of restaurants to walk to. Very pet friendly. I read the most recent review and I've never been charged anything extra for my pet that wasn't on the lease. I would highly recommend the District to any of my friends or family!

I used to live at this place for about 2 years. There are really nice people in the office and the security and maintenance are prompt and courteous. It's nice having a parking garage to park in. The key fob entrances are nice and the year round hot tub is perfect. There are always events going on to get the community together and the convenience of being able to walk to many fine restaurants and the grocery store are so great. The only bad part is that its super expensive. They bait you in at a great rate in a 10 month lease at a great price. Then every 10 months the rent goes up drastically. They offer you the ability to sign the lease at any month duration up to one year but the 10 month is always the lowest. I had to move away after 2 years because it got way too expensive.
