This is by far Cincinnati’s hippest neighborhood. Like the name says, it lies on the northern edge of Cincinnati, and, despite its distance from downtown, is extremely walkable. The indie scene here is unchallenged by any other area of Cincinnati, with many delectable restaurants, galleries, shops, and music venues, making it a haven for artists and art-lovers alike. If you’re into sustainable foods, be sure to stop by the Northside Farmers Market, as well as the many progressive co-ops and organizations in the area. In short, you’ll never be bored living in Northside. Plus, it’s right next to Mount Airy Forest, 1,400-plus acres of gorgeous greenery, gardens, and gazebos. Living in Northside means you have a variety of rental options, from older apartments with character to luxury apartments to full homes.
