Wood Springs has been such a pleasant stay so far! Ive had very minor maintenance requests that were taken care of quickly. Holly and Steven are SO nice! I had so many questions and called several times before move in and they always answered my questions so kindly. They never sounded annoyed or impatient with me. It is wonderful walking into the office and the staff knowing you by name. They genuinely care about their residents and want you to be pleased. I have plenty of room in my one bedroom apartment, and it is so much more reasonable than any other apartments in the area. Again, thank you Steven and Holly!

I moved into Wood Springs Apartments in June and I love it!!!! The Management staff is awesome, always smiling and very friendly; I felt at home the day I went to look at the apartment complex. The pool is nice, there is a workout room and laundry facility as well. I would recommend this apartment complex to all of my family and friends!!! Great atmosphere!

We have been living here almost 2 years and we love it. If we have a issue with anything Holly and Stephen are quick to get those taken care of. I would recommend to anyone to live here. Very friendly people here. Pool is awesome. I dont use the exercise room but their is one also laundry facility if needed.

These apartments are very affordable and have lots of space. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great and convenient to many shops and food. The only problem I had was the maintenance requests were slow and sometimes had to be put in more than once, but it is a large complex with many residents so that is to be expected. The maintenance staff is also very nice and always explained what they were doing whenever they fixed something. Overall I had a great experience with Wood Springs Apartments.

I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about Woodsprings. GREAT LOCATION!! STEPHEN HAS BEEN THE MOST PROFESSIONAL, AMAZING, FRIENDLY AND HAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE IS ALWAYS ALWAYS WORKING SOOO HARD EVERYTIME I GO IN THE OFFICE. He is always helpful, goes above and beyond and is ALWAYS very efficient. I have been very pleased with maintenance as well. I am enjoying my apartment so far and hope to keep it that way!!! Thank you for such a great experience.

This place deserves all the stars possible. My boyfriend and I have been living here for over two years now and and we love it. They've done everything in their power to accommodate us and we really appreciate everything. It means something to have staff members know who you are by name. For the price and location, you can't beat it. So thank you Holly and Steven for being great staff. Hats off to you guys!

I moved to Alabama from Florida and was having a hard time finding a place to live. I drove past these apartments and decided to just stop in to see if they had anything available. Daya was so helpful she kept me updated on everything that I would need to do and thanks to her help we were approved for a 3 bedroom today. Thanks Daya for everything you did to help us get the apartment we desperately needed.

The staff is fantastic! I've lived here for about 4 years now and previously would not have rated the complex as high. However, the current staff has been wonderful. Steven, Holly, and everyone else have all been friendly and responsive. If you're looking for affordable living on 280, consider Wood Springs.

I moved into Wood Springs Apartments in November. I have been very pleased with everything! The staff is so friendly and seem to really care about tenants! So refreshing to find a place to live that makes you feel truly welcome to be there. Holly was my first contact there, and she is so professional and friendly to everyone! Everyone in the office has been so helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment complex. Most places would never even remember you, but the staff here, calls you by name. I would rate it excellent. The maintenance team is great too!

I just moved to the area and Holly showed me around. She was a sweet girl and you could tell she really cares. I know nothing about the area and needed a 1 bedroom quickly to move in too. Holly got me right in and walked me through the whole process. Thanks again!

Five stars for the office administrators. They are quite literally the ONLY good thing about this place. Always smiling and happy to help. I went in the office tonight to get my mail and Stephen was working his tail off taking care of the lobby full of residents while Hollie was managing the phones.

**Update 2 1/2 years in: Holly and Steven are the only reason I am adding to this review because they are really great to me. Things have gotten a lot better since I started off with Wood Springs. Holly and Steven in the office work very hard to try and get your issues fixed. Sometimes they are limited in what they can do because DEL, who owns this complex, is still really awful. The maintenance guy, Latham, replaced our HVAC unit and really came through in the clutch for us. Mind you, it has not been working correctly since Saturday, and today is Wednesday. We have been running emergency heat which really uses a lot of power and our bill will likely be elevated. Steven says I can bring the bill (with the prior two months of usage to compare) to the office they will do something to compensate me. So that is great news. This place still has plenty of issues, but overall I really like my neighbors and enjoy the pleasant staff. ** After 3 months of living here, the property was sold to DEL, inc (a company out of Georgia that basically buys crappy apartment complexes and does some cosmetic enhances to flip the property for more money). This is the worst part.They do not care at all. They don't care if your apartment is flooded, the gym has no heat or a/c, cars are being stolen out of the parking lot, one of the neighbors was found dead in his apartment, a prostitution ring busted, NOTHING. They won't even call you back. The manager has to clear every single thing she does with her regional manager from DEL, inc. Let me be clear that I have tried to contact DEL, inc via phone, email, and social media with absolutely no response. The office staff could be helpful, but they aren't allowed to do anything. I just had a flood from the upstairs neighbors on a Wednesday night at 9:45pm. I called emergency maintenance multiple times but never received a call back. I have to give them notice by December 31, 2016 if I am renewing the lease or not, so naturally I want to know if they are raising the rent. With all of the problems here, I am not willing to pay anymore for this apartment. The office staff let me know that the rental rates are controlled by, you guessed it, DEL, inc. Furthermore, I won't have access to those renewed rates until December 27, 2016. So they are going to give me the new rates 4 days before I am required to turn in a 30 day notice if I want to move out. REALLY?!?! There are still things in this apartment not fixed from when I moved in a year ago! THE PLUMBING. THIS IS HUGE. It starts with the summer approaching, all of sudden your kitchen is covered in fruit flies. No amount of traps or clearing your entire kitchen of perishable food will get rid of them. THEY ARE COMING OUT OF THE DRAINS IN THE KITCHEN SINK AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL. I have spoken with multiple neighbors (some of which have lived here 4+ years) who reference the fruit flies like "yea, you've got to clog those drains up when summer comes to keep the fruit flies out." YOU COULD EXPERIENCE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING (I have experienced all at some point in time): ALL THE TOILETS BACK UP (no amount of 'snaking' them fixes the problem). THE SINKS DON'T DRAIN. THE SHOWERS DON'T DRAIN. THE ENTIRE PLUMBING SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY MESSED UP...ON A VERY LARGE LEVEL. THEY NEED SOME EXPERTS IN HERE TO DIG UP EVERY SINGLE SEWAGE OR DRAIN LINE THAT IS OUTSIDE OF THE ACTUAL BUILDING AND REPLACE EVERY INCH OF IT.

I have lived here for over a year and have nothing but good things to say about this community. It's the most affordable place around but you don't sacrifice quality. The staff is really nice and super helpful. I've never had any issues at all. Jayme, Hollie, & Steven are so great and nice!!

I have lived here for almost two years and I am very happy with how they have turned things around since I have moved in. You can tell they are investing more into the property and have a staff that cares about getting repairs completed. I have and will continue to recommended these apartments to my friends.

We just moved in a week ago and already I can say this is one of the nicest apartment complexes I've ever lived in. The 3-bedroom is really spacious. All of the appliances are new and the AC works great! We placed a service request in and it was taken care of the same day!! We did install a fan in the master bedroom but otherwise I love everything about the apartment. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking.

I love living here. Office staff is very nice and helpful. I have only had to place 1 work order and all 3 problems were fixed the same day. The location is awesome. The apartments are very spacious. The air works great and the water pressure isn't too bad. You're gonna run into issues at any apartment complex but to me this is one of the better complexes in Birmingham, especially for the price. I never hear any of my neighbors so it's nice and quiet. I will say keep your gym membership because this one has old equipment but the pool is great and they keep it clean. I see a lot of bad reviews on here but for me it's been a great experience.
