I Presently, as of 5/31/17, live in these apartment and have been for over a year. My lease is up and it is definitely ' must leave time." Cost: I rented a two bedroom, @ 525.00 monthly and a , 525.00 deposit, Management: So far, there has been in the same span of my year lease 3 mgrs and 4 maintainence men. The last guy, named Randy, was more effective at getting the job done and patrolling the grounds than any of them, when he was there.( supposedly per the manager Heather, he quit without notice, I heard that they let him go). What? before you found a new maintenace person/ Bad move.! Living conditions: These apartments are tolerable only if you can live with trash daily scrolled over property. Loitering, loud music , noise and children out, all hours of night. Frequent police calls and the smell of weed on a daily basis. Overall in my opinion its "poorly managed.". I would rate it a 3. What kept me from moving: Why did I stay so long, well the location is ideal and my credit isnt the best for a house. Was a steppin stone. but now I paid full rent, on time, so if this is a " get what you pay for type of deal. I feel short changed" . Because $525 is nothing to snicker at, at least not to me. The residents: Most of the people that reside in this community are either from serenity, section 8, on dissabIility mingled with a few individuals that are gainfully employed, as myself. Managent: ( again) The management is of poor quality. Property is managed by Sherwood and Helmstreet. The broker or agent, unsure of his title, name is Joel The present managers name is Heather and when speaking with her she politely informed me that her job ends at 5. Not really sure when it starts because most days, I dont see her car pull up untill after 1O, 11, or12, somedays not even then. I have also reached out to her, as I did other managers and Joel ( Joel only via phone and email, Heather in person). and you guessed it no resolution. In Heathers defense a lot about 75% of this stuff takes place after hours, but the trash,, noise, smell of weed and loitering happens during the buisness hours. Right you get my point. She sits in the office texting, She di say the last manager didnt get anything done either and that he watched netflex all day. DL? So I fiquered its time to pack the ole bags, cause if they dont give a whoot about their residents concerns, then why keep giving them my hard earned cash. I would advice against moving here though unless you just got $ 6,000 to throw away, the tolerance of job or you have no other choice. KATHIE
