Decent place to live overall. When I moved in, I was told I would have hardwood floors in my house, then I was told it would be brand new carpet, which is why they werent finished preparing my house. Then when I moved in, the carpet wasnt vacuumed (I took pictures) and there were dead bugs scattered around. Wasnt off to a great start, but the community and staff have made a difference in my stay. Its quiet and usually clean. Kids play together and people smile at you, and rarely do I hear a ruckus going on outside (but it has woken me up a couple times, mostly its the riff raff). My biggest complaint is with the roaches and the staff response to them. They charge us monthly for pest control but have only sprayed a few times in the summer, which seems wrong to me. Roaches keep appearing weekly (except in winter), no matter how clean we have our home so I think its Georgia Greens responsibility to take care of it. Otherwise, its an okay place to live, but has potential to be much better if they fixed things and didnt cut so many corners.

I've lived here for just under 2 years now. Overall, it's a pretty good place to live for what we pay. Could be worse, but could also be better. The Good: - Rent price - Carlos is super helpful with any maintenance issues and is always nice and prompt. He is always working hard. - Unit layout and size - Current office staff is nice and much better than when we moved in. - Can always get parking in front of or not too far from my building. - Close to downtown and the Loop - Safe neighborhood The Bad: - The units need serious care/updating. The moldings, doors, walls, cabinets, etc. are all dented, stained, poorly painted, etc. Also, a lot of my kitchen draws screech upon opening because of age/being partially painted shut and there are permanent stains in the bathtubs and toilets since move in. Also, the model unit is in much better condition than the actual unit we moved into despite it also being "updated." - The unit also wasn't ready when our lease started. Despite moving in 2 weeks after our lease started the stove/oven did not work at move in and the w/d hook-ups leaked. - When we first moved in, the price we were quoted was $50 less per month than what was then put into our paperwork. I noticed the difference and they made the adjustment but did not tell us they processed it as a concession. This meant that when we went to renew the next year, our rent went up by an extra $50 on top of what they told us it would be because the "concession" expired. We only found this out after we had signed on for another year. - There need to be more dog clean up stations. There are two near the front of the neighborhood but they should be throughout. Things are not the fault of management--- People let their dogs off leash all the time, the walls are thin, and there are so many kids outside in the summer months that are loud (and yell/bark at dogs on walks).

My husband, baby, and I have all lived at Georgia Green for 9 months now. We could not be any happier! Maintenance (Carlos) is always prompt. efficient, thorough, and kind. The office staff has consistently been awesome as well, always polite and friendly and welcoming! They've gone above and beyond for us on multiple occasions. The complex is also very quiet, safe, and friendly. It's been perfect for our little family. In our entire history of renting, we've never renewed a lease with any apartments. But this time, we most definitely are renewing. It's just that good!

Ive lived here for 2 years, and the current management team took over about a year ago. They are absolutely fabulous. If Ive had a maintenance issue, Carlos and staff have quickly and HAPPILY resolved the issue. Debra and Shae in the office are absolute treasures! Theyre so friendly, and always listen and address my concerns. But to be honest, Ive not really had any! I love living here. Hardwoods, spacious living room, cute back patio, great sized bedrooms, and VERY reasonably priced. Im super close to the loop (without being too close), Trail Creek Park is half a mile away, an officer is always here, lovely pool, pet-friendly. Im more than happy here!

Living here at Georgia Green has been pleasant since the move here in June of last year. I love the fact that we are right down the street from downtown Athens area and the fact that I am located right beside the bypass to get around any College Football traffic when the season begins. The pricing is not bad considering this is one of the few places that are not listed as student housing. It is a quiet place to live and it is very peaceful living here.

I love living here at Georgia Green Apartments because management is very knowledgeable about my lease and they are very quick with all work orders I have placed. I love the fact that when I walk into the office, I am greeted by name and they even remember which apartment I live in. That shows me that they make is a personal experience every time I enter or any other resident. They do a great job with keeping up with my packages in the office and with letting me know when they have arrived. The maintenance completes my work orders quickly and I see the courtesy officer walking the property during different times of the night.

Never in the 3 years we have lived here have we had any issues with any type of pest or bug. Any time we have ever had a maintenance issue, it has always been corrected in a hurry. Management has changed since we first moved in and I will say the current management team is great. Aside from wishing they had a 3 bedroom option, I have no complaints!

I've lived here since 2014 and I have no plans of leaving anytime soon. I have never seen a single pest of any kind. I have no complaints about management either... they've been pretty great so far.
