Went to the the leasing office to check out a 3 bedroom apartment(but I didn't have an appointment). I was told to join the other applicant I met there to tour a 2 bedroom apartment and I thought it was a nice place. I was then told the 3 bedroom apartment looks exactly like the one I just saw, but just with a third bedroom, so I put in my application. That day I realized the 3 bedroom apartment may actually look different from the one I saw, so I asked for pictures of the 3 bedroom apartment- which turns out to be an older version of the 2 bedroom, and a different style. From the pictures, I wasn't interested in the apartment and asked to cancel my application. This was about one business day after I applied and before the application was processed. However, they didn't return my application fee even though they hadn't even processed the application. I thought they shouldn't have kept the application fee because they misrepresented what I was applying for to me, and the application hadn't even been processed at all. I give 2 stars because the lady that showed the 2 bedroom apartment was at least nice, but the one I spoke with on the phone to cancel my application wasn't even trying to reason with me.

This is our first apartment together and we could not have picked a better location. The staff are all amazing and most maintenance request are fixed the day they are reported. Often times within minutes. We love the area so much that we even had some of our wedding photos done out by the pond! We highly recommend this complex to anyone looking in the Ann Arbor area. Close to downtown and great neighborhoods to walk in the nearby area. Price is good for the size apartments. Kitchens have adequate counter space and a breakfast nook for storage or a small dining room set. Good closet space throughout. Best of all, they are pet friendly as well!!

Of course - I LOVE LIVING AT THE PONDS - I am the manager. :) Grateful to work and live at such a peaceful and beautiful community! The setting, with its many trees and the lovely pond, is like no other in Ann Arbor! I enjoy sitting on my balcony watching the ducks, turtles, rabbits and occasional deer. The residents here are not only friendly, but quite interesting! The Hayman Company contracts many capital improvements to keep The Ponds at Georgetown one of the BEST apartment communities in town!
