Campus Area Housing at UW is a service provided by the University of Wisconsin to it’s students, staff and community members looking for housing near campus. They maintain a large inventory of student-focused rentals in and around the campus area.
In 2012, ABODO was founded in Madison, WI, a uniquely competitive market. High occupancy rates, rare portfolios, and strict moving dates require different advertising efforts for property managers.
ABODO varied its contract terms and focused the majority of efforts on user experience, providing advanced mobile technology while building a loyal customer base.
In Madison, 40% of UW-Madison used ABODO in its first year on campus. Campus market share quickly grew to its current 60%+.
As a result, Campus Area Housing and ABODO forged a partnership, with ABODO now powering the UW Campus Area Housing Website. The relationship serves as a testament to the popularity of the platform, and the pending change in the landscape of search.
